One thing you shouldn’t complain about when it comes to the Hollywood Confidential panel series is that they get may get boring and dreadful in any way. On the contrary, one of the latest installment put together, face to face, some of the aspiring and rising stars and the loveable and popular comedienne and actress, Tiffany Haddish.

Truthful and so open to tell the public and the Hollywood Confidential series man behind it all, Steve Jones, Haddish gave all of us a glimpse of her amazing journey to success.

Funny and brutally honest, the 38-year old L.A native told us about her interesting cut on projects. She imagines her younger self wondering about becoming a part of not of a project, which, according to her, is very helpful and refreshing.

She said “When I read scripts, I always think of 16-year-old Tiffany,” and continued with “Would 16-year-old Tiffany want to see this? Would 16-year-old Tiffany be telling all of her friends, ‘Guess what I’m about to do? Let’s go to the movies. Let’s see if we can get a fake ID and sneak into this. Do you think your big sister would want to see this?”

We all love the “Girls Trip” breakout star for her very unique way to give a comical vibe to every part of her amazing personal story and it’s impossible not to keep in mind one of her piece of advices when it comes to dealing with all the negative people around.

“Instead of cursing someone out, or continuing to spread their negativity, how about you curse them out in happiness,” is one of the things that helped her keep a smile on the face. “Wish them so much happiness that it becomes contagious!” she added in the end, making all of us sitting on the fence next time when talking them back, in the same negative way.

The panel continued with the award presentation to the old-time Hollywood television producer that many of us know, Ralph Farquhar. As a matter of fact, he used to be a mentor for both Haddish and Mare Brock Akil, which is also an award-winning producer. The surprise got even more impressive as it was the last one to show him the Hollywood Confidential “Legend Award”.

Akil was overwhelming him with her gratitude, as she was introducing the award to Farquhar: “Thank you for changing my life, for seeing something in me”. Her words were so honest and warm, melting the famous producer’s heart: “Thank you for creating a space that I could do what I do, so that I could have a dream realized. I know I’m not the only one so, I’ll speak for everybody; there are probably thousands of lives that you have touched.”

The celebration continued with Haddish presentation of the “Trailblazer Award”, acknowledging her accomplishments and impressive success in both television and film.
