Usha Natarajan is an assistant professor at the American University in Cairo's Department of Law and the Centre for Migration and Refugee Studies. She has a multidisciplinary background, with a PhD in international law from the Australian National University, a MA in international law from the United Nations University of Peace and an LLB in Law and a BA in Art History from Monash University.
She has taught international law at the Australian National University, and worked with various international organisations including UNDP, UNESCO and the World Bank.
