He has written and researched for the Independent, the Chunichi Shimbun, the Royal African Society, Africa-Asia Confidential, Asia Times Online and openDemocracy, among others. He holds degrees in Politcal Science and Geography from the University of London. His interests include political economy and Africa-Asia relations.
