Anne Mireille Nzouankeu is a Cameroonian freelance journalist who focuses on development, human rights and gender issues. She won third prize in the Lorenzo Natali Journalism awards for Africa, and was a 2010 Diageo African Business Reporting Awards finalist. She is the Cameroon correspondent for Radio Netherlands Worldwide and has written for a wide variety of publications including DPA, IPS, The Guardian, L’Humanité and Panos London. She is bilingual in English and French, studied Journalism and Anthropology and views the role of journalism to be the voice of the voiceless.
