We are always looking for new contributors. If you are interested in writing for Think Africa Press please email email@example.com, attaching your CV, writing samples and ideas for articles.
Additionally, we offer a variety of flexible internships. Interns at Think Africa Press will not have to make a single cup of coffee or spend their days doing mundane administrative tasks. Instead, interns will be given real writing and journalistic experience in a vibrant and friendly online news environment. They will be expected to make a genuine contribution by researching, copy-editing, helping plan our day-to-day content, and writing articles on subjects which interest them, as well as helping out with publicity and social media.
Think Africa Press only takes on high quality applicants with considerable writing and researching skills. Interns are not required to have studied specific subjects or necessarily have specialist knowledge, although relevant degrees will be useful. All interns will be expected to have a proven interest in African affairs and intelligent journalism, and be able to think analytically about African news events and issues. Specific regional and topical expertise is also very useful. [NOTE: The internship role is a voluntary one. As such, there are no binding set hours and responsibilities and you are technically free to come and go as you wish.]
