WFP spokesperson Caroline Hurford talks about the ongoing drought situation in the Horn of Africa and the WFP response. Since the interview was conducted food shortages have now spread to other regions in South Somalia.

This interview was filmed by Sam Piranty for Think Africa Press.

On behalf of the World Food Program we would also like to let you know that you can donate to the WFP (www.wfp.org/donate) - £10 will provide a mother or child with food for a month.

Great interview-However, who is supposed to give money in this kind of situations is not clear to me. Maybe the WFP could cleary name them, and see the reactions
