Placide Tapsoba

Placide Tapsoba is the director of the Population Council’s regional office for sub-Saharan Africa in Accra, Ghana, and a native of Burkina Faso. He studied medicine at the University of Padua, Italy, and subsequently studied both public health and medical anthropology at the University of California, LA.
