Okolo Ben Simon is currently a lecturer at the department of International law, Faculty of Law, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and program director at the Centre for Conflict Prevention and Resolution located at Enugu, Nigeria.
He has a PhD in International Relations from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg South Africa. His research interests are in the areas of international criminal law, international humanitarian law, human security, civilian protection, conflict resolution, and political risk analysis.
He has published extensively in the area of international peace and security. Apart from his LLB degree in Law (Calabar, Nigeria), he also holds a BL (Law) (Lagos, Nigeria), Masters in Law (LLM) (Wits) and Masters (MA) (Wits) in International Relations.
