Jay Naidoo

Jay Naidoo was the founding general-secretary of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) where he served three terms from 1985 to 1993, before becoming the government minister responsible for South Africa's Reconstruction and Development Programme (RDP) in 1994 and later the Communications Minister in 1996. Jay is the  co-founder of the J & J Group, founder of the J & J Development Projects Trust and is chair of the Geneva-based Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition.
