Dinah Shelton

Dinah Shelton is a professor of international law at the George Washington University. She became the first woman nominated by the US to be a member of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. In 2009, she began her four-year term. 

She has written many distinguished books and articles on international law and served on the board for many human rights and environmental organisations.
